Product Description

Photoinitiator 250

Cationic Photoinitiator 250 is a general-purpose cationic UV photoinitiator for initiating epoxy or propylene oxide based photocurable systems. Photoinitiator 250 is a propylene carbonate solution with an active ingredient content of 75%.

1. After testing, Photoinitiator 250 can be used alone or mixed with appropriate photosensitizers (such as thiazolones) for UV curing inks, adhesives, paper, metal and plastic surface varnishes.
2. When photoinitiator 250 is mixed with α-hydroxyketone initiator, better surface curing effect and speed can be obtained.
3. Photoinitiator 250 has good applications in the fields of graphic arts imaging and adhesives.
4. In dark paints and inks (such as containing rutile, titanium dioxide, colored pigments, etc.), photoinitiator 250 only needs a very low concentration to show excellent curing effects.
5. It only shows slight yellowing under a large amount of ultraviolet radiation. In dark-colored systems, photoinitiator 250 needs to be used in conjunction with a photosensitizer.
6. Combined with appropriate photosensitizers, excellent extinction ability allows photoinitiator 250 to be used for curing thick film systems.

Application Field

Photoinitiators are widely applied to the UV surface curing system with high photocuring speed and anti-yellowing, such as UV curing coatings, UV photocopying varnish, UV plastic coatings, UV wood coatings, UV glue, silk screen printing inks, lithographic printing inks, flexo printing inks, UV curing adhesives, optical fiber coatings and electronic products, generally used with other photoinitiators. It also can be used together with ultraviolet absorbent when necessary to prevent product aging.

Re: Yes, of course. We'd like to provide 10-1000 g free sample to you, which depends on product you need. For freight, your side need to bear, but we will refund you after you place bulk order.
